Physical Therapy

Tired of spending weeks in physical therapy only to feel dependent on machines you can't use at home? At True Health Centers, we set you free. We combine targeted exercises you can do anywhere with hands-on treatments like dry needling to relieve pain, restore movement, and help you stay independent in your recovery — not dependent on the clinic.

OUR APPROACH

Physical therapy designed for long-term success

A lot of physical therapy is built around in-clinic equipment and protocols that feel effective while you're there — but don't translate to lasting improvement once you leave. We build your program around what you can replicate, reinforce, and own. Your physical therapist should be setting you up for long-term success, not short-term gains.

Movement that transfers to real life

Your program is built around functional exercises and movement patterns that address what your body is actually doing wrong — not generic protocols. Everything is designed to be progressively practiced outside the clinic so improvements hold.

Hands-on treatment integrated

Physical therapy at True Health includes dry needling, manual therapy, and joint mobilization alongside exercise — because hands-on intervention and active rehabilitation work better together than either does alone. We don't separate them.

Coordinated with your full care team

Your physical therapist works alongside our chiropractor and other providers. If your PT is identifying movement dysfunction that's related to what chiropractic or naturopathic medicine is addressing, that's communicated and coordinated — not treated in isolation.

"Your physical therapist should be setting you up for long-term success, not short-term gains."

– Dinell Jacobson, PT

WHAT TO EXPECT

What your physical therapy visit involves

Your first visit begins with a thorough movement assessment to understand how your body is functioning — not just where it hurts. From there, your plan is built around what specifically needs to change, and begins immediately.

Comprehensive Movement Assessment

A detailed evaluation of your movement patterns, strength, range of motion, posture, and functional limitations. This informs your specific rehab plan and sets the baseline for measuring progress.

Thin sterile needles inserted into trigger points to release muscular tension, reduce pain signaling, and restore normal movement patterns. Integrated into your PT sessions when clinically appropriate, or available as a standalone treatment.

Home Exercise Program

Every patient leaves with a clearly explained home program — exercises and movement strategies designed to reinforce what happens in the clinic. This is not an afterthought; it's central to how we achieve lasting results.

Nutrition & Lifestyle Counseling

Guidance on diet, supplementation, sleep, and daily habits that affect inflammation, tissue healing, and how quickly your body recovers.

Ongoing Care

Ongoing sessions combining hands-on treatment and progressive exercise. Your plan evolves as you improve — always moving toward greater independence and long-term resilience.

Custom Orthotics

Custom foot orthotics when biomechanical foot and ankle issues are contributing to knee, hip, or spinal problems.

YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Dinell is a licensed physical therapist whose approach centers on building long-term independence — not managing dependence on clinic-based treatment.
