Cold Laser Therapy

If you have not already heard about it, cold laser therapy is something you should know about! This is one of the greatest modalities because it can be used on anyone for anything! That's right, anyone for anything! Let me explain. Cold lasers work by emitting a very powerful wave of red light, and in the case of my laser, infrared light. Research has shown that your cells respond very favorably to wavelengths of light between 630-640nm. When your cells become exposed to this light, the mitochondria (thats right, the powerhouse of the cell!) produce more ATP, which gives the cell more energy to carry out its job, heal itself, and replicate. This is truly HEALING AT THE CELLULAR LEVEL!

So that is red light in a nutshell, but my laser also has IR light which most cold lasers do not have. Infrared light has a slightly longer wavelength than red light which not only makes it invisible to the naked eye, but allows it to generate heat. Because it is still a lightwave, and not a heating pack, the heat penetrates your skin, deep into your tissues, and disperses. Patients typically don't feel the warmth until towards the end of treatment when the heat is making its way back to the skin where your thermoreceptors are most abundant. This deep heating affect allows for more efficient heating of the target tissues. Heat is not only great for pain relief, but it stimulates blood flow and your nerves. This combination and red and IR light allows cold laser therapy to be beneficial for every condition.

Treatment is noninvasive and only takes a couple of minutes to produce all these wonderful results!

  • Anti-Inflammatory Action— Laser light reduces swelling caused by bruising or inflammation of joints to give enhanced joint mobility.

  • Stimulated Nerve Function— Slow recovery of nerve function in damaged tissue can result in “dead” limbs or numb areas. Laser light speeds the process of nerve cell reconnection to bring back motor and sensory innervation.

  • Pain Relief-Decreased inflammation and increased nerve function will inhibit both acute and chronic pain.

  • Increased Vascular Activity— Laser light induces temporary vasodilation increasing blood flow to damaged areas.

  • Faster Wound Healing— Laser light stimulates fibroblast development and accelerates collagen synthesis in damaged tissue.

  • Rapid Cell Growth— Laser light accelerates cellular reproduction and growth.

  • Increased Metabolic Activity— Higher outputs of specific enzymes, greater oxygen and food particle loads for blood cells and thus greater production of the basic food source for cells, Adenosine Tri-Phosphate (ATP).

  • Reduced Fibrous Tissue Formation— Laser light reduces the formation of scar tissue following tissue damage from cuts, scratches, burns or post-surgery.

Cold laser therapy can be used to treat anything and everything:

  • pain

  • inflammation

  • headaches and migraines

  • arthritis

  • sprains and strains

  • plantar fasciitis

  • disc injuries

  • nerve pain like sciatica

  • wounds

  • burns

  • infections

  • acne

  • scars and scar tissue (as seen in the video)

  • and literally anything else you can think of because as long as it’s a part of your body, it’s made of cells!

And there are no side effects! Whether you’ve got a new complaint or a chronic issue that has not responded to anything else, you’re going to want to give this a try today! All cold laser treatments are included in my all inclusive, 6 month program to get out of chronic pain!
